One of the most unsaturated of vegetable oils, this oil is ideal for all types of cooking and can also be used for salad dressings. Its high smoke point makes corn oil ideal for frying. Be sure to buy it in as unprocessed a state as possible. Aim for crude pressed corn oil, though it is hard to find. A darker color will be one indication that the oil contains more of its natural qualities.
