Prune (with recipe)

Prune manufacturers valiantly attempt to rise above their constipation sigma. Cannot this fruit of the elegant plum tree stand on its own merits? For what is a prune but a dried plum – rich as it is in vitamin C, potassium, and protein. Add delicious to boot.

Unsulfured, unmoisturized, unsugarcoated, unsprayed, sun-dried prunes are often so hard as to need soaking or stewing before savoring: be certain not to discard the juice – it is mineral-rich. Prunes are nutritious and good for the digestion; that they happen also to be efficacious in times of constipation seems superfluous to add.
