Cane Syrup

Cane syrup, a by-product of sugar refining, is a thick, dark golden syrup containing more sugar than molasses. It is used primarily in the southern United States in the same manner as maple syrup is used in the north. “Organically” refined cane syrup has not been treated with the usual lime or sulfur.
