Alfalfa Leaf Tea

 


         This tea, in addition to its superior nutritive values (see alfalfa), is very easily assimilated and therefore particularly good for the elderly and for children. Its rather bland flavor becomes extremely tasty when mixed with mint. To brew alfalfa tea, steep 1 teaspoon alfalfa leaves in 2 cups boiling water for about 10 minutes.
